A Wintery Walk

Some days, it’s is just too nice to stay indoors. Saturday, cold though it was, was definitely one of those days.
Furry Sharks Alert!
James, Georgie & I (along with Homily, of course) spent an hour or so at my Mother-in-Law’s house at lunchtime so that we could let the dogs out, as Ruth was out at a dog show.
It was a hilarious meal as there were 6 dogs circling the high chair like sharks while Georgie devoured her fish fingers and carrot sticks! When she got fed up of eating she quite purposely threw all her remaining food on the floor one bit of a time and enjoyed the ensuing chaos!
After we finished at Ruth’s house, we packed baby, dog & their various accompaniments back into the car and headed homewards. As it was such a glorious day James decided to make an unscheduled stop so we headed to Waseley Hills Country Park and took the dog for a chilly but very pretty & enjoyable walk. We popped Georgie into the Tomy carrier as I didn’t have a sling with me - unfortunately she is getting a bit big for it now and James found it quite uncomfortable. I think that fact has him convinced that getting a wrap sling for him to use is the way to go, hurrah!
