Review: We were sent a few items from the mOmma range by Lansinoh, and the thermal plate is the first thing we tried out.

A clever concept, this plate is hollow inside, allowing you to fill it with hot water to keep your child’s food warm while they eat. It is easy to fill up with water and has two different sections for your food, ideal for a “section eater”!

Georgie seemed to enjoy eating off this plate & had no problems using her cutlery with it. It definitely did the job keeping her food warm, and she ate almost all of her food. At the end of the meal there was a noticeable temperature difference between the food left on her plate & some that had fallen onto the tray mid- meal.

Although I wouldn’t call this an essential purchase, it would definitely be useful if you have a fussy eater. I know how stubborn toddlers can be so if you have one who refuses to eat their food once it has started to cool down this would be perfect for you.

I have sat there waiting (im)patiently while Georgie has dawdled for an hour over her food in the past, and this plate would do a good job of keeping her food warm while she takes her time eating.

4 out of 5 stars for a clever, but not essential (unless you have a fussy eater!), product.
