James & I (and Georgie of course – although she slept through most of the trip) popped to ASDA on the way home on Sunday to do our shopping for the week, and caught the tail end of the Baby & Toddler event that is a regular crowd pleaser at ASDA.
As it seemed to be coming to a close, a lot of the items had further discounts to clear the shelves and we returned home the proud new owners of two Lindam Sure Shut Orto safety gates and a Graco Tea Time Highchair for less that £50 total. The gates were just £12 each and the highchair £15 – can’t argue with those bargains!
We tried Georgie out in her new highchair when we got home, and fitted one of the gates to the kitchen door. Although Georgie isn’t even crawling yet, the ability to shut Homily either in or out of the kitchen is going to be very useful, as it doesn’t have a proper door.
Georgie seemed delighted with her new chair… Homily wasn’t quite as pleased with the gate though!
