Review: Lydia was delighted to be given this product to review, and had a great time testing it out. Like many kids she loves to play with slime, enjoying the sensory experience and fun of playing with the gooey substance.

The So Slime Sugary Crush Milkshake includes several different slimes/substances as well as decorations, a sugar paste mould and a plastic milkshake cup (that you have to put together – it’s not suitable for drinking from).

The packages of slime and decorations are all numbered, and the recipe tells you what order to open and use them in.

First you put together the milkshake cup, and decorate the edge with white slime and sprinkles. You next mix together the pink & white thicker slime, before smushing the ‘whipped cream’ compound into a spiral for the top.

Next, you decorate the top with slime ‘syrup’ and the rest of the sprinkle decorations. Finally, you use the mould to make the two colours of slime sugar paste into different shapes, and finish your creation with the results.

Once your masterpiece is complete, you can photograph it to share online, before crushing everything together to make a sensory slime mixture.

Lydia had a great time both creating the ‘milkshake’ and then destroying her creation and mixing everything together to make a lumpy stretchy slime.

The whole thing is a sensory experience from beginning to end, and it took over three quarters of an hour for Lydia to make and then crush her milkshake. The set includes a resealable bag to store the mixed up slime creation in, keeping it ‘fresh’ enough to play with again.

£10 seems to be a fair price for this set – ASMR type sensory slime kits go for around the same cost, or more, and this one has the fun milkshake aspect to it.

Lydia says: The So Slime Sugary Crush Milkshake is definitely one of the best things I’ve EVER played with. I love the fact that each component is a different texture eof slime and the wide variety of decorations you can accessorize your milkshake with is very good for creative thinkers. I think that the fact that not all decorations are pre made not just adds an element of fun, but also increases creative potential. Overall, I would definitely recommend this toy to people, as it is very entertaining, plus you can play with it even after you’ve made, decorated and crushed your slime milkshake.

I asked Lydia to rate this – and she says 5 stars! Given how much fun she had with it, I can’t disagree.
