This is my mum. Her name is Anne. She & my father have been married for over 35 years, and she has been a mum for 31 of them.

My mum is my hero. She was the witness at our wedding in 2008, whilst still under going treatment for breast cancer.
Many of our guests didn’t even realise she was ill, or that her fabulous hairdo was a wig. Mum is a breast cancer survivor, and I am constantly thankful that she beat it.

I love my mum to bits.
She is an amazing grandmother, and I only wish that we lived closer so that the girls could spend more time with her! Georgie adores Mum, and I can’t wait to introduce her to her newest granddaughter in a few weeks time!

My mum is who I want to be when I grow up.
If I have news, she’s one of the first people I want to tell. If I need help, or a want a random parenting question answered, then I call my mum to ask her advice.
I don’t know who I would be without her.

Happy Mother’s Day, Mum!
I hope all my fellow mums out there have a lovely Mother’s Day today! 🙂

That’s so lovely. I hope my children speak of me half as fondly when they’re older 🙂
