Georgie’s first play-doh experience!

While we were down in Cornwall visiting my parents last month, my Mum took advantage of a quiet afternoon to play with Georgie and introduce her to the concept of play-doh! Mum is a fabulous grandmother, with a stash of things to entertain a toddler on a rainy day hidden away around their house.

Play-doh is something that I have been meaning to introduce to Georgie, now she’s past the stage of trying to eat absolutely everything she touches! Mum had the genuine stuff (thanks to a joke birthday present five years ago), and a variety of cutters and things to play with. I snuck in with the camera after they’d been at it a little while (and got roped in to help roll and squish), and got some lovely shots of Georgie having some Grandma time.

Once she got the idea, Georgie really enjoyed her play-doh fun, and I am planning to get stocked up on baking stuff and cookie cutters once we have moved house, so that we can have some fun with homemade playdough, and actual baking too of course! I’m excited that Georgie is getting to the age where we can start to do this sort of play together.
