Last week we were Doc McStuffins Pet Vet Twitter party hosts, and the girls had some of their friends around to the house to take part too. We were sent a big box of goodies for the party, and paid a small fee to cover costs.
We played lots of games & activities, and had some yummy (vaguely animal related) snacks. Georgie and Lydia loved having their best friends over to join in the fun, and all four of them enjoyed playing with the Doc McStuffins Pet Vet toys. Here is a look at what we got up to during the party!
Stick the Boo Boo on the Patient
A Doc McStuffins version on pin the tail on the donkey! We had a poster of Findo, which I marked with an X to show where he had hurt himself. The girls took turns to be blindfolded and spun around, before trying to stick a plaster on Findo’s Boo Boo. Georgie got this bang on, on the first turn!

What’s Missing from the Pet Vet Bag?
This is a simple memory game that can be played at home with any collection of toys or objects. A set of something like the Pet Vet bag and it’s contents is perfect for this game. I introduced the children to everything in the bag, naming each item as I laid it out in front of them. Then, as they covered their eyes, I took an item away, then the girls had to work out what was missing. The competition of playing as a group definitely added to the game, they were all eager to be the first to guess the missing object – and L was a very proud winner (she loved her prize!)!

Tea Time
You can’t have a party without party food! We had Doc McStuffins fairy cakes, and I tried to stick with an animal theme on the snacks – teddy bear crisps, animal biscuits, and paw print fruit snacks.

Help Findo find his way to the Vet
The perfect way to wind down after an exciting first hour – chilling out with a maze to complete. The girls had to try and help Findo navigate the maze to get to Doc McStuffins.

Bring your animals to the Vet
The last activity was some role play. The girls had a lot of fun taking turns being Doc McStuffins, dressing up in the outfit and using the Pet Vet bag to treat each other’s stuffed animals. They had some weird and wonderful maladies!

Goodie bags and goodbyes
Finally it was time to go – the girls were amazed by their goodie bags, which included Doc McStuffins magazines, and some mini figures too. L had such a good time she didn’t want to go home and hid upstairs instead!
