popchipsProduct: popchips katy’s kettle corn

Price: £2.00 for a share bag (99g)

Age Range: n/a

Manufacturer’s Description: Never fried, never baked, think popped! Naturally delicious. Sweet and salty.

It started with a late night craving and a bag of popchips. It was love at first bite. Super tasty and less than half the fat of fried crisps.* So I jumped at the chance to create my own flavour. Katy’s kettle corn is deliciously sweet and salty. It’s only a sin if you don’t share it.

* 50+% less fat per 28g serving

Rating:  (5/5 stars)

Review: We are already fans of regular popchips, so when we were offered the chance to try their new kettle korn, created in conjunction with katy perry, we jumped at the chance.

We were sent a box of individual size bags (28g) to try, and they were absolutely delicious. At £2 for a share bag of these, I would definitely buy them again. The combination of salty and sweet is as weird as it sounds, but it absolutely works. James and I were left fighting over the last bag!

Georgie enjoyed the few she was allowed to try too 😉

At half the fat of regular crisps, and much nicer tasting than a lot of the crisps on offer these days, these were a huge hit in our house. Most of the “healthier for you” (aka “not as bad for you”) crisps I have tried taste like cardboard – but no such problem with these!

James’s review: “I like them. They are my favourite flavour.”

We give katy’s kettle corn 5 stars (and will be picking some up next time we’re in Sainsburys!)
