With the summer term in full swing and the holidays just around the corner, I’ve created a new set of summer-themed handwriting worksheets for children. Designed for Key Stage 1 pupils, these free printable sheets provide a fun way to practise handwriting skills while exploring a range of words associated with the sunny season.
The printable pack includes two handwriting practice pages featuring 26 summer-themed words, carefully selected to vary in length and complexity. The words are arranged from shortest to longest, helping children gradually build confidence as they work through the sheets. There’s also a blank handwriting page included, allowing children to practise additional words, create their own summer vocabulary list, or continue working on letter formation independently.
These worksheets are ideal for use at home, in the classroom, or as a simple educational activity during the school holidays. They encourage children to develop pencil control, letter formation, spacing, and handwriting fluency while engaging with a seasonal theme. The blank page also makes the pack easy to adapt for different ages and abilities.
