The 3 of us headed to the NEC to check out The Baby Show today, thanks to the lovely Hannah over at A New Addition who gave us a pair of tickets she had going spare.
The show was quite fun – it was great to see a lot of the products I am interested in “in the flesh” and try them out – I will definitely be blogging about my favourites over the next week or so! Georgie and James both had fun testing out these Happy Hopperz!
We were very well behaved and didn’t spend much money, although I did treat myself to a fab multicoloured bangle from the Gumigem stand which Georgie seems to be rather pleased with!
We are off for a family holiday to Cornwall in July to visit my parents, and so we treated Georgie to some Baby Banz and an adorable pair of iddy biddy Crocs for the beach! The guys from Sunproof were really nice & helpful, and even gave us a special deal for buying the two together. Georgie looks so cute in the sunglasses though she seems to dissaprove of us trying to make her wear them indoors – she took them off so quickly I couldn’t even get a photo!
As well as collecting a million leaflets and catalogues which I will have fun browsing through, we got a nice little selection of freebies too. Georgie had some of the snacks we were given as part of her lunch & on the way home – she even had her first ever juice drink courtesy of Peter Rabbit Organics who gave us a couple of cartons to try. It was quite amusing and impressive to watch her figure out how to use the straw, I’m amazed that she worked it out so quickly considering it was the first time she has been confronted with one!
I love the flashing clown fish that Konfidence gave us and I had a nice chat with the guys on the stand – turns out they are based near where my parents live & one of the shops in Bude sells some of their stuff… We might pick up something for Georgie when we are down in the summer!
It was a nice day out and great to get out & about to something a bit different to our usual weekend activities! Georgie had great fun having a bit of a toddle about with her reins on – she has gotten so confident with her walking now and lots of people commented on how well she was doing, so I was a very proud mummy… I wish they had a steering wheel though, she was wandering about in all sorts of random directions!
