About a month ago I was doing some late night browsing on eBay, as you do, and stumbled across some bundles of baby & toddler clothes. They weren’t listed very well, with vague descriptions of the contents and photos of them spread out randomly on the floor.
The bundles were nowhere near us & were marked as collection only… However they just happened to be down the road from my brother. Did I mention that he’s a helpful sort of guy? I won 5 of the bundles she was selling and Mike picked them up for us and then brought them to Mum & Dads for us when we were all there for Easter.
We ended up with two 3-6 months bundles, one 6-9 months, one 12-18 months and one 2-3 years. Georgie can use the 2-3 stuff straight away as she already moved up to that size a little early due to her height, and it won’t be long until Lydia is in the 3-6 month stuff, with the remaining two bundles being sorted and stored away for her future.
While we were at Mum & Dads we had a dig through each massive bag to see what we had got, and we were very pleased to say the least! The clothes are almost all from Next or Mothercare, with the 2-3 bundle being about 90% Next stuff. There are some other great brands too, including a few designer names.
There were two pairs of adjustable waist jeans and a pair of adjustable waist trousers in the 2-3 bundle, which is brilliant as we don’t even bother trying trousers with non adjustable waists on our little girl – they all just slide right down she’s so skinny! A decent pair of second hand adjustable waist jeans would normally set me back at least a fiver, especially if they’re Next branded, so I was delighted!
We paid £52 for the 5 bundles, containing a total of 260 items. That works out at 20p an item! To say I am pleased with my bargain hunting would be a bit of an understatement with this one :-).

There were some duplicate items (our theory is twins!) and some things that aren’t to our taste, so I will be selling about a fifth of the clothes on with individual eBay auctions. As this includes a lot of Next items I wouldn’t be surprised if I cover most, if not all, of the total price of the bundles with the unwanted items. Woohoo, free clothes! I might even make a profit, who knows.

Hehe I’ve been doing that with bits I’ve bought in bundles
for Toby that I haven’t deemed Tobster style 😉 Great way to cover
the cost of your purchase, only problem is how long it takes to
list the bloody things on eBay!! x

I always buy clothes bundles off eBay for all my kids. I
don’t see point in paying out loads for new clothes- especially not
for my 6 month old who won’t be in them long. Iv had some really
good bundles for both girls, lots of pretty dresses etc and good
stuff for my boy too. The great thing is once they don’t fit them I
simply bag them up and resell them on eBay again. Xx
