Emma doll

Review: It’s time for Lydia’s first official Play Patrol mission, how exciting! Her first toy is a Bigjigs Doll of her very own. Georgie’s favourite toy is a Bigjigs Doll we reviewed yonks ago called Melody, and so it’s really lovely that Lydia has one of her own now – and a relief for Georgie as she no longer has to jealously guard Melody from her little sister!

Emma arrived wrapped in a protective plastic bag with a label attached to the back of her dress.

Emma is one of Bigjigs biggest dolls at 38cm tall, and has brown woollen hair. She wears an attractive pink smock dress, covered in bows, with a white tshirt and panties underneath. The bows in her hair match her dress too, which is a nice touch. All three items of clothing are removable, but her shoes and socks are not. Everything seems well made and soundly stitched.

Emma’s mouth is embroidered and her eyes solid & soundly stitched on, so no worries about small children swallowing anything they shouldn’t here.

She is very cuddly, as you can see from Lydia’s instant reaction to her!

We took Emma to the park with us earlier this week and she had a go on everything, with and without Lydia. It was so cute watching Lydia clearly begin to enjoy imaginative play when she got her big sister to help put Emma on the swing so that she could push her, and clung on to her constantly as she explored the play area.

Emma particularly enjoyed the swing…

Here’s a video of what we got up to at the park, enjoy!

We give Emma 5 stars, Lydia just loves to cuddle her.
