The Sooty Magic Show 2D

Review: Georgie really enjoyed this DVD, Sooty is one of those classic shows that appeals to children of all ages. The cover art is fun and appealing – our little girl picked this one out of a pile to watch first, so it must be good!

Now starring Richard Cadell, this Sooty DVD has six episodes for kids to enjoy. The storylines are fun and easy to follow, the puppets are charming, and the humour is, let’s face it, a bit hit & miss – but typical for a show like this!

Georgie was absolutely captivated by this the first time she watched it, and will definitely enjoy it even more as she gets older.

The funniest thing about reviewing this DVD was James was supposed to be doing something elsewhere in the house, and ended up staying in the living room with us in order to watch it. Sooty really does appeal to all ages!

The Magic Show episode features guests stars Paul Daniels and his wife Debbie McGee, which is a nice touch for any magician fans out there! There is also a fun nod to Top Gear with “Sooty-Stig” driving the camper van in one episode.

4 out of 5 stars and a must have for any Sooty fans. At £5, it’s hardly breaking the bank.
