It’s a hard life, being sent chocolate to review… but someone has to do it! With Valentine’s Day swiftly approaching, Treat Republic offered to send us a few treats from their extensive range of chocolate to sample.… Continue Reading “Review: Treat Republic Valentine’s Chocolate”
We received this house to review just before Christmas and it has been a huge hit with both our girls, and Georgie’s best friend has enjoyed playing with it too.
First impressions were good; the parts of the house were easy to snap together, with easy to follow instructions and a handful of stickers to put on the house and furniture. There are furnishings for a living area, kitchen/diner, bathroom and bedroom, plus a few bits for Minnie’s cat too. The oven and fridge both have opening doors.… Continue Reading “Review: Fisher-Price Minnie’s Polka Dot House”
The LumiPotti is a potty with a night light, designed for 24 hour use. My initial thoughts when I opened the box were that it seems to be good quality, with a decent thickness and strength to the plastic – not at all flimsy like some super cheap potties I’ve seen.… Continue Reading “Review: LumiPotti Night Light Potty”

When Hotel Chocolat contacted me to see if I would like to review an item from their Easter range, I was immediately drawn to these Egg & Chips – how cool are these?! Just SO much fun!
The Egg & Chips came well packaged wrapped in tissue paper, inside a beautiful gift bag. The gift card is really attractive with your gift message printed inside.… Continue Reading “Review: Hotel Chocolat Egg & Chips”
I really enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles, and being offered this lovely 500 piece Ravensburger puzzle to review was like being handed an excuse to take a few hours for myself and do something to relax.
This puzzle is from the Ravensburger “Happy Days at Work” series, and is entitled “The Secretary”. It measures 49.3 x 36.2cm and depicts a scene in an office, with a secretary busy on the phone while her boss sits at his desk in the background, and the filing girl crouches at the filing cabinet.… Continue Reading “Review: Ravensburger “The Secretary” jigsaw puzzle”
Last year at the Baby Show I stopped to chat with the lovely Lynda, inventor of our beloved ewan the Dream Sheep. While we were talking, Lynda was kind enough to give Lydia her very own ewan snuggly. This little ewan was an instant success, with Lydia cuddling it to herself straight away when I unpacked it at home.… Continue Reading “Review: ewan snuggly”
We have been invited to take part in the “I’m a little smarTriker” challenge by BumpPR, and were sent a 4-in-1 Dream Smart Trike for Lydia to test out and participate in the challenges. We were already fans of Smart Trikes, as Georgie was given one for her 1st birthday back in 2012, and she has always really enjoyed it… and it’s not hard to see why.

We were offered a Wauwaa voucher, so that we could try out the website and also review some of the clothing they had on offer. At the time of our shopping, Toby tiger was the brand that immediately jumped out at me as my favourite, and it didn’t take long to choose our items to order.… Continue Reading “Review: Toby tiger clothing from wauwaa.com”
Georgie really enjoys the Woolly and Tig tv show on Cbeebies, so when they contacted me to let me know that an iPad was being launched, I was looking forward to checking it out. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t have quite the same level of appeal as the tv show. The main idea of the app is to entertain children, while making every day activities seem more fun.… Continue Reading “Review: Woolly and Tig iPad app”
Last year we reviewed a Melody doll from the Bigjigs Dolls range, as part of the fantastic Play Patrol scheme we have been taking part in since last Spring, and she rapidly became Georgie’s favourite toy. For Christmas, our lucky little girl was given the Bigjigs Daisy Doll Cradle by my parents, and James & I treated her to a new toy pushchair too – all for play time with Melody.… Continue Reading “Review: Bigjigs Toys Nurse Nancy Doll”
I had no idea which flowers I was due to receive when Debenhams said they were going to send me a bouquet to review from their Valentines range, so when these luxury Grandprix roses arrived I was blown away by how beautiful they were.… Continue Reading “Review: Debenhams Flowers – 24 Luxury Red Roses for Valentines Day”
Just before Christmas, we were contacted with the offer of a gift from Direct Line of a brand new artificial Christmas tree. I appreciate that this review may have been more useful posted in early December, but the tree arrived in the nick of time on Christmas Eve, just hours before we planned to decorate the house. It’s a good thing my parents like to stick to the traditional 12 days of Christmas for decoration!… Continue Reading “Review: Harvard Blue Fir Pre-Lit 7.5Ft 500 Led Artificial Christmas Tree”
