Rating: (5/5 stars) Review: The moment I saw the product photo of the Warmies Honey Bee I knew I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to review one – Lydia would never forgive me! As a huge fan of everything soft & cuddly, missing out on having something new & adorable to snuggle would have been outrageous in her eyes. New to the extensive range of Warmies heatable soft toys, this Honey Bee is very cute and super soft – and it smells great too. The scent of French Lavender gets stronger when the bee is heated, giving it a calming aroma to help you sleep. The snuggly bee has a comforting weight to it because of the millet hidden inside it, too. The millet is what holds the warmth when the toy is microwaved, making it a very nice bed buddy on colder nights. In addition to helping keep you warm on a chilly night, Warmies are great for soothing aches & cramps too, without having to deal with the faff of a hot water bottle. I would much rather zap a soft toy in the microwave than deal with pouring (& inevitably spilling!) water from the kettle any day. We found the Warmies Honey Bee really easy to pop in the microwave and heat up – with the instructions added to the label of the toy, you have a reference right there attached to it to make sure you get the power rating and time right. The heat lasts around 40-45 minutes and once it has reached room temperature it is safe to reheat it if needed. Lydia has very happily tested it out to help her curl up to sleep in her nest of super soft blankets. You can also freeze Warmies plushies to provide cooling relief on hot days, so I think we might have to give that a try soon, if the weather stays warm & sunny! Warmies are available to buy on Amazon in addition to their own website. Lydia says: I think it’s awesome because, not only is it super soft, but it also smells incredible, especially when it is warmed up. It worked very effectively and definitely made me feel very cozy and sleepy in bed. Overall, it’s perfect for its purpose and is also adorable! We give this snuggly heatable soft toy five stars. I might have to get one of my own next – somehow I don’t think Lydia is going to share!
