Ad disclosure: We were sent a box of craft products for the purpose of this post.
We were sent a big box of craft materials at the end of the Summer to have fun with, and with Halloween rapidly approaching, we have been enjoying some Halloween craft projects – and a bit of bonfire night firework fun too!
First up we decorated some polystyrene pumpkins with felt pens – the kids had fun colouring them orange and attempting to draw faces on them, and finishing them off with a few of the leaf stickers we were using last month. Both girls had a great time with this, including arranging them oh so artistically with a pile of dry leaves and conkers they collected on the school run.
The Halloween Stained Glass Lantern Kits we were sent were great fun – Georgie and Lydia loved popping out the card to reveal the design and then gluing on the tissue paper for the stained glass effect. I helped them out with putting the lanterns together and then we worked together to attach the string & stick. The girls both love carrying these around, swinging off the stick, and they would be ideal accessories for little trick or treaters to carry with them this Halloween.
Finally, we created our own bonfire night rocket with this fun Rocket Flying Decoration Kit – Georgie and I made a fun colourful rocket that has been hanging from our living room light ever since! She loved putting this together with me, and it sparkles like mad with all the different colour glitter foam stickers.
As you can see we’ve been having a great time with our Baker Ross craft products; the girls love any excuse to be creative and of course to play with the “gloopy glue” too!
