Last weekend we visited my Mother-in-Law to have lunch, talk about buying houses (exciting!), return her previously poorly laptop, and play with her new Norwich Terrier puppies. The puppies were exactly one month old and are at an incredibly cute stage, becoming playful and wobbling along the floor with their back paws slipping and sliding about.
Georgie adored them and had to be continuously cautioned about her over enthusiasm for them! She just wanted to pick them all up at once and give them a great big squeezy hug… obviously not a great idea, they are still a little bit delicate for that! We tried to convince our little girl to sit nicely and cuddle one at a time, and she had a lovely time letting them scramble over her legs.
As for Lydia, she had some puppy time too, and really enjoyed lying down and letting them play with her.
I always want to steal Ruth’s puppies and take them home with me, whenever we visit and there is a litter. I think after this visit, Georgie feels the same way. I am at the baby show in London today, and Georgie spent yesterday very excited about visiting the “Puppies!!” … I am afraid the excitement of spending the day with Granny came in second to the adorable little creatures.
As you can imagine I took a big load of photos while we were over there… here are my favourites. Please do click them to view & browse the gallery full screen, to benefit from maximum cuteness!

Look at them – so cute! And I absolutely love that last photo :)!
