Last week we headed into the city centre to attend the launch of the new Legoland Discovery Centre LEGO Ninjago Event, which celebrates 10 years of LEGO Ninjago with lots of fun to be had.
The girls really enjoy LDC and are delighted that it has reopened fully after lockdown. They really enjoy exploring the centre, especially looking for new scenes in the West Midlands themed Miniland, clambering around the soft play climbing frame, enjoying the two rides, and of course building lots and lots of LEGO.
For the 10th anniversary of LEGO Ninjago, there are all sorts of themed things happening at the centre, including a hunt for Ninjago characters in Miniland, a 4D cinema experience, themed LEGO builds, and meet n greets with Ninjago hero Lloyd.
The girls really enjoyed looking around Miniland hunting for the golden Ninjago characters (Kai, Cole, Zane, Jay, Lloyd and Master Wu) and the extra Ninjago builds that were hidden around the familiar buildings.
There were plenty of hand sanitiser stations in place, to help keep things ‘COVID secure’, and even though legal restrictions have now lifted they are continuing to have additional measures in place, and recommend use of face masks.
As you exit the centre they have a huge range of LEGO Ninjago sets in the shop too, so you can spend some pocket money to take the fun home.
The LEGO Ninjago event is on from 17th July until 5th September, and is included with standard entry tickets. You can save money by pre-booking online, and also buy combined tickets with Sea Life centre, which is just a short walk away. Tickets start at £20.65 per person.
