BRICKLIVE – win tickets!
As huge Lego fans, we jumped at the offer of tickets for BRICKLIVE, the largest Lego event in the UK. We’ve been to a few of their events at the NEC in the past, and always really enjoy the chance to do some building, see amazing Lego models, and generally surround ourselves with all things Lego.

LEGO Movie Days at LDC Birmingham
We went to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre last week to attend the launch of their LEGO Movie Days event, in celebration of the LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.
A day out at Legoland Discovery Centre, Birmingham
The girls have been really eager to go to the new LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Birmingham, so when we told them we were going to be annual pass holders they were delighted. They really adore going to Sea Life Centre, as regular readers of my blog will know, so being able to go to LDC just across the canal is super exciting for them – we’ll be able to do both in one day quite often, especially with LDC having a nice little cafe inside with a decently priced kids meal deal.
Loads of LEGO fun at Brick Live!
On Saturday morning we hopped in the car and drove over to the NEC Birmingham to attend the Brick Live show – “built for LEGO fans” – for a day full of building and looking at lots and lots of LEGO models!
The Great Brick Safari at Twycross Zoo
At the weekend we headed over to Twycross Zoo near Atherstone to attend the launch event for the Great Brick Safari which is at the zoo until 7th January. With over 70 life-sized LEGO brick animals on display, our pair of LEGO addicts had a great time racing around hunting for them all.
