Ad disclosure: We were sent a box of craft products for the purpose of this post.
The girls and I have been having fun with our latest box from Baker Ross – which was full of Christmas craft projects for us to do together. We had Georgie’s school friend Lily over after school one day, and the three girls got to work creating Snowflake Magic Wand Kits (£3.49 for a pack of 4), Penguin Gift Bag Kits (currently on sale at £1.99 for a pack of 4), and some fun Snowman Mosaic Coaster Kits (£3.60 for a pack of 6).
The girls had a lot of fun doing the kits together, creating fun Christmas bits & pieces to enjoy. They absolutely loved the penguin bags, spending ages deciding which bag belonged to which before starting the kits. The wands were another hit, although trickier to put together – Lydia needed a fair bit of help but loved every second. The mosaic coasters were another success, but the girls all lost interest about half way through and put them aside to finish another day – Georgie and Lydia will be finishing them off on a rainy afternoon sometime soon, I have no doubt.
After school one day, Georgie & Lydia decided to tackle some of the other craft kits included in our box – the Christmas Stocking Sewing Kits (currently on sale at £2.49 for a pack of 3), Christmas Owl Sequin Decoration Kits (£3.99 for a pack of 3), and a pair of Reindeer Handprint Crown Kits (currently on sale at £2.49 for a pack of 4.
Both girls loved these kits and even through they needed help with the trickier bits, like sewing the stockings (though they both had a good go), and in Lydia’s case sticking the sequins on, they had a lot of fun putting them together. They are really pleased with their Christmas stockings and hung them up immediately, and are very proud of their sequin owl decorations too. Drawing around their hands to make reindeer antlers was a huge success; Georgie was so pleased she managed to draw around her left hand herself, and they found their new headbands so funny.
These Baker Ross craft kits have all been great, and they have loads of other Christmas kits and stocking filler gifts too. I think their products are all good value and great quality, and perfect for keeping the kids occupied on rainy days. I am pretty sure I’ll be doing an order for some more kits and bits & pieces for the Christmas break!
