Christmas Gifts for Harry Potter Fans

Home Gift Guide Christmas Gifts for Harry Potter Fans

Disclosure: Many of the items included in this gift guide have been sent to us for inclusion. Some product links may be affiliate links.

I’ve been a Harry Potter fan since I first read the first three books in the summer of 1999, having picked up a paperback of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, with some of my birthday money, on our way to Scotland for a family holiday. By the end of the week I had tracked down, purchased, and read books two & three in the series, and from then on I would read each book as it was released, devouring each one within the day.

James also enjoys the Harry Potter series – in fact, they are the only books we still have two sets of physical copies of, as we both refuse to get rid of our childhood copies… in addition to me also having the ebooks and audiobooks! We were both fans of the films – both the Harry Potter adaptations and the Fantastic Beast series – and we even took a very tiny Georgie with us to see the final Harry Potter film at the cinema. So, it’s no surprise that between us we have a fair amount of products from & inspired by the Wizarding World! Today I have some fun ideas for Christmas 2020 for you…

Christmas Gifts for Fans of the Wizarding World

Mini Hogwarts Express 3D Jigsaw

£19.99

Regular readers of the blog will know that I love puzzles – I even did a whole gift guide dedicated to them – so when Coiledspring Games offered to send me this Wrebbit 3D Mini Hogwarts Express jigsaw I was delighted – it is a great little puzzle to make and the girls are looking forward to having a go at it themselves too.

Harry Potter 2021 A5 Diary

£9.99

This A5 Harry Potter 2021 diary is really gorgeous, with gold foil detailing on the cover and some gorgeous stills from the films inside amongst the pages. This diary includes a week-to-view layout for 2021, as well as extras such as note pages, address pages, notable dates, and a year-to-view calendar.

Star Gin

£28.00

These magical looking star gin bottles from Il Gusto make a perfect gift for any adult Harry Potter fan, and will look just like little potion bottles when sat on the shelf – but with rather tastier contents! The three-pack photographed are filled with rhubarb gin, Parma Violet gin, and Turkish Delight gin – all made in France.

Harry Potter 2021 Square Wall Calendar

£9.99

This Harry Potter Square Wall Calendar is based on all 8 of the Harry Potter films, and includes memorable scenes from each film, with each monthly layout featuring a different main character from the series. You’ll even spot some of the character’s birthdays in the date boxes!

Bookish Candles

£7.50 for 2 x 50ml

I treated myself to these Bookish Candles from Pret-A-Geek and they smell amazing! I went for the Harry Potter inspired scents ‘Winter in the Great Hall’ and ‘Mrs Weasley’s Cookies’.

‘Winter in the Great Hall’ has a ‘warm wintery cinnamon with sweet sticky apples’ scent, while ‘Mrs Wealsey’s Cookies’ smells of gingerbread and spice, with a heavily sugared sweet base. They also sell a Witchcraft & Wizardry gift set including five 50ml candles in a box which you can personalise with a message.

Wizarding World Pins

£8.95

For any pin collectors, the new official Harry Potter Fanclub Pin Seeking pins are a perfect gift! This cute enamel pin says “You might belong in Hufflepuff, where they are just and loyal”, and they have a whole range of pins available to buy. Lydia was recently sorted into Hufflepuff so she is claiming this pin for herself!

Harry Potter Book Earrings

£3.50

I do love a good pair of nerdy earrings and what better way to share your love of Harry Potter than to wear teeny tiny Harry Potter book earrings? I treated myself to these handmade Goblet of Fire earrings earlier this year and love them!

Harry Potter Magical Capsules

£11.99

We recently reviewed the Harry Potter Magical Capsules, and really enjoyed them, so it was a no-brainer to include them in our gift guide this year! Each capsule includes a Harry Potter character with accessories, and it’s a great fun unboxing experience with heat and water sensitive clues to discover, and little parcels to open. Lydia’s best friend is a big Harry Potter fan so she can’t wait to give these capsules to her for Christmas!

Harry Potter Knitting Magic

£22.99

For knitting fans, this Harry Potter Knitting Magic book from Pavilion Books would make an ideal gift. My Mum has a copy of this book and has enjoyed a few of the projects that she has completed from it – mostly gifts for my niece & nephew! I have a feeling Lydia will be making a Hufflepuff related request soon. The book includes patterns for creatures from the books, including Hedwig & Fluffy, various clothing items such as the House scarves, and more – over 25 knits in all.

Harry Potter LEGO

LEGO SYSTEM A/S

I also really enjoy the Harry Potter LEGO sets, and have a growing collection! This year I added the Astronomy Tower to my Hogwarts model, and really enjoyed building a model of Hedwig. They have a great advent calendar too!

There you have it – our Harry Potter suggestions for this year. Will you be putting any Harry Potter presents on your Christmas wish list this year?
