Lindt are “bringing the joy of Easter to life” with Lindt Gold Bunny Hunts at various beautiful venues across the UK this Easter, and we were asked if we would like to check it out. Unfortunately we don’t live within an easy drive of any of the ten hunt locations, so instead Lindt sent us some goodies so that we could have a hunt of our own in the garden!
I picked up some glitter polystyrene eggs and some little colourful baskets from our local shop to supplement the selection of Easter treats sent to us by Lindt, and printed out some Easter hunt signs from the Gold Bunny website. We picked a dry afternoon, and I secreted the glitter eggs and the Lindt little chicks around the garden for the girls to find.

Georgie and Lydia had so much fun running around the garden with their baskets looking for the hidden goodies. I had given Lydia the giant soft bunny Lindt sent us and she was delighted with it, refusing to put it down while she hunted for eggs and chicks.
Georgie beat Lydia by just two chocolate chicks (Lydia may have been having a little bit of adult help), and she was delighted to get a Lindt egg for a prize! Both girls had loads of fun and I’m really pleased we did it – it was really easy to set up, especially with the Lindt printables to guide the girls along, and I got loads of enjoyment from watching the kids play. We are going to be busy over the Easter weekend, redoing the girls bedroom, so it’s nice to get some Easter fun in before then!

If you are near any of these venues, why not head down and have some fun following the trails, solving clues & discovering some Lindt chocolate treats of your own. There will be the chance to create some traditional Easter crafts, and take part in the Lindt Golden Carrot competition.
