We’re a week and a half into the new year, and this poor blog has hardly seen any action. No resolutions, no chat about our Christmas, and certainly not anything I had planned for it. One solitary Sunday Photo since New Years Eve, and that’s it. Oops.
I did mean to be good and blog, really I did. I’ve got a handful of excuses prepared but I don’t think you need the details. Illness, housework, work. There is always too much to do with too little energy and not enough time, right now. I haven’t been able to take Lydia to her stay & play group, and James had to handle the school run every day, sacrificing his lunch break.
Georgie keeps saying “Christmas is Over.” She’s glad to be back at pre-school, though, and Lydia is more settled with the return to routine, even if we haven’t quite reached normality yet.
Lydia’s new phrases since Christmas include “sick bowl” and “stop it!” which gives you an idea of how things have been here.
I have plenty of reviews to finish up and some fun stuff to share with you so hopefully I will find a minute to spare for that in the next few weeks. In the meantime, here’s a cute-but-blurry photo of the cats snuggling. Just because.
