MAD Blog Awards

I’ve been in two minds about whether to write a post about the MAD Blog Awards nominations this year. When I received a few nominations unexpectedly in this first week I was surprised, pleased, and a little bit proud, so I thought I would write a post after all.

Nominations have just opened and so my twitter stream and RSS reader are full of people asking to be nominated for an award, so I will try to be dignified about it and resist the urge to beg too much for nominations!

If you do enjoy reading my posts, seeing what my little family get up to, find my reviews or odd geeky posts useful, or have fun entering (and hopefully winning) one of my many giveaways, then I would love it if you could give me your nomination.

You’ll make me feel a little bit proud of “Mama Geek,” and even a bit rewarded for all of the crazy hours of work I put into this blog.

I don’t write sponsored posts or accept any advertising on my blog, so I don’t get a lot back from the late nights I put in sometimes. I just want to record my memories for my girls, really, and have a little corner of the internet to share my opinions on things.

Looking at the categories, I’m not even sure what I fit in best… If you are nominating any blogs this year, I would appreciate it if you put my down for any of these categories:
