Review: Lydia absolutely adores a good bath bomb and a relaxing soak, so we couldn’t resist the chance to review this fun Bath Bomb Dispenser Machine from So Bomb.

The So Bomb Bath Bomb Dispenser comes with 20 individually wrapped bath bombs that snugly fit inside the ‘bowl’ of the dispenser.

Ten of these bath bombs have hidden charms, with a total of 12 charms to collect. You’ll also receive a cord to string together your charms – it’s about 1m long, so you can make a few bracelets if you want to share with your friends. The charms are pretty basic little plastic things in a variety of shapes and colours.

Opening the dispenser to fill it up is a breeze. The top part clicks in and out by rotating it in place. Once it’s full of the little bath bombs, simply spin the handle on the front until it drops a bath bomb for you to enjoy in your bath.

The bath bombs are scented, with a selection of sweet aromas of strawberry, vanilla, and pineapple. Lydia tried three at once during her first ‘test bath’ and was pleased to find her first charm as they fizzed away in the water.

The can refill packs are pretty affordable at just £6.99 and include 12 bath bombs with 6 charms hidden inside.

Storing your bath bombs in this unique container is definitely a fun way to do it, and it certainly adds a touch of novelty to bath time. As for the bath bombs themselves, Lydia had no complaints, except for their small size, which is why she used several at once!

If the dispenser wasn’t absolutely reusable, both with the official refill packs and with homemade mini bath bombs (or even wrapped sweets!), I wouldn’t be as impressed with this product. It would seem like a waste of plastic. However, as it is, I think it’s great fun both as it comes and how you could continue to use it for its originally intended use – or for anything else you dream up. I bet you could even fill it with deconstructed minifigs and then empty out a few ‘scoops’ to make random people with whatever you get.

Lydia says: I think that the bath bomb dispenser is fun! It not only looks really cool, but you can also reuse it and put either refills or anything you want in it. It’s extremely satisfying to turn the little handle and the bath bombs themselves are all great colours and they change the colour of the water! I also like the little charms, as it means you get something to keep, rather than just being left with no bath bombs. Overall, it is all very cute colours and a fun product!

We give the So Bomb Bath Bomb Dispenser Machine a solid 5 stars. It’s a great gift option for young bath bomb fans, and it’s well-priced.
