Word of the Week – 14/03/14

Home Chit Chat Word of the Week – 14/03/14

I joined in with Reading Residence’s Word of the Week linky for the first time last week, and I enjoyed the challenge of choosing one word to sum up my week so much, that I thought I would continue to join in.

This week’s Word of the Week is…

FINAL

We have been to our final Monday soft play session, and to our final Thursday playgroup. Georgie has enjoyed a final walk around the village with my Dad, and we have made a final batch of cakes together.

Tonight is our final night staying here with my parents. Tomorrow, we move into our new house. Our own, actually owned, house.

We’ve even had our final #PlayPatrol mission this week!

Final playground trip
A final trip to the playground!

It’s been a really busy week, packing everything up and sorting things out ready to go into the new house, whilst still feeding, entertaining, and generally looking after my girls.

Georgie and Lydia have been acting a bit unsettled as I have been packing up their temporary life around them. Georgie isn’t sleeping well (and consequently neither am I!) and we are all feeling tired. But it is our final night here tonight, and tomorrow I get my little family back, properly. I am SO excited!

    • Thank you! I’m hoping Georgie will sleep better when she’s in her bed in the new house. Even when she doesn’t get up in the night I feel tired as I can hear her tossing and turning and crying in her sleep, so it’s shattering 🙁

    • Thank you Kim 🙂 I love this photo, though poor georgie pushed the swing then got knocked over by it coming back at her, oops!

  1. Wow, so excited for you! Sounds like a lot of hard work, but the end results are so worth it. Good luck!

  2. I am so excited for you! Hope all goes smoothly tomorrow and look forward to seeing some photos of the happy new home 🙂 And glad you’re enjoying joining in with #WotW x
