Review: We took the Lindam Funpack Harness with us on holiday to Cornwall and found it so useful for Lydia. This product is basically a small toddler-sized backpack to which you can attach a rein, preventing your child from walking too far from you.
The backpack is the perfect size for Lydia; at 18 months she is a very confident walker & climber and is displaying a fair amount of independence, wanting to walk with us but not always hanging onto our hand. This backpack allows her to walk on her own, but stops her from running off.
To prevent it from falling off your child, the backpack clips securely across the chest so your child can’t wriggle out of the straps and get away. The rein attaches to a loop at the bottom of the back, with a second loop at the top for hanging it up.
A single zip gives access to the inside of the bag, and an elasticated pocket inside provides a handy place to slip the rein when not in use, allowing you to use the main section to stash a few things. It has enough space for a drink, and we tend to use it to carry loads of snacks for the girls.
Lydia really resists a wrist rein and finds a typical toddler harness rein too short, so this slightly longer rein gives her some much desired freedom whilst keeping her safe. She understands that the bargain for getting down from the pushchair is often wearing the backpack, and is very happy to wear it whilst out and about.
We have been really pleased with the Funpack Harness and will continue to take it with us on all our outings with Lydia. I think it is well worth the RRP and it can often be found for less than that online too. 5 stars!

I love the fact it fastens across the chest to avoid any cheeky escapes. We always graduated from standard reins to a wrist strap but I might have to look at one of these for Amy when she’s bigger.

We have one of these and its always with us, whether it be on her back or attached to the buggy by a buggyclip. We adore ours and really couldnt be without it. How adorable does Lydia look wearing hers!! x
