As Bigjigs #PlayPatrol agents for two years running, and keen fans of the brand, we obviously have built up quite a collection of Bigjigs toys. Christmas saw a fresh influx of Bigjigs toys and so I thought I would share what the girls have been loving lately from our favourite toy brand.
Pastel Check Hobby Horse

Thanks to the blog we reviewed several “Santa experiences” before Christmas, along with visiting the Drayton Manor Santa and seeing him at the pre-school Christmas party. Georgie asked Santa for a hobby horse no less than six times, which meant Santa had to deliver something special.
We’d originally picked up a cheap ‘n’ cheerful second hand horse from the charity shop, but it needed a bit of TLC and we decided to “upgrade” to this Bigjigs hobby horse instead. Georgie ADORES it, it was definitely the right decision.
Drum

Lydia is a huge music fan, and she loves to listen to it, dance to it, and play it. The pattern on this drum is fun and it’s the perfect size for our toddler. We gave her one of these for Christmas and she really loves it. The strap is brilliant and Lydia loves to carry it around by the neck and drum away. She calls it her bang-bang.
Butterfly Bead Box

This bead box was one of our recent Play Patrol reviews, and it continues to be a popular toy with our eldest. Georgie’s best friend Sophie came over for a play date last week, and the girls had it out to make pretty necklaces – Sophie went home proudly sporting her “beautiful” creation.

Melody 35cm Doll

No list of Bigjigs favourites would be complete without Melody. This doll has been Georgie’s absolute favourite toy since we were sent it for one of our earliest Play Patrol missions in 2013, and she continues to be “top doll” in our little girl’s life.
Georgie takes Melody with her to pre-school every day, can’t sleep without her, and she accompanies us on all important outings. The poor doll is going to need a new outfit soon, she’s been played with so constantly over the last few years and is starting to show the wear of such a hard life!
We went to see Circus on Ice recently so we took along Melody, of course, and she got to take a ride on the carousel bus…

Farm Skittles

My Great Aunt sent these skittles for Georgie, and they have been popular with both the girls. She even got them out while we were on a FaceTime call with my Mum so that she could show off one of her favourite Christmas presents to her Grandma. They are super cute, I love the fun facial expressions and the farmer’s wonky hat!
Well, there you have it – our latest Bigjigs success stories. I definitely recommend all of these toys for toddlers and pre-schoolers, especially that beautiful hobby horse, which has been showed off a lot and admired by all!

That hobby horse is very sweet. My 4 year old has one and loves it, it’s been a regular feature for a couple of years now 🙂
We love the hobby horse here too but could never own a drum, oh my ears hurt just thinking about it! x
