On Wednesday evening I headed into town to attend Prezzybox’s Jingle Mingle Christmas event. I know, it’s still a little bit early to be saying the C word but in the world of marketing it all kicks off even earlier than this!
They have a fantastic team of people behind the gift company, and it was great to meet them and have some nice chats about everything from goats to advent calendars. The event was at the Night Owl over in Digbeth, and it was fantastic to get a peek at some of their latest products while enjoying a few drinks and talks from their MD Zak and the YouTuber Eltoria.
Prezzybox also arranged for a couple of workshops for us to enjoy and they were both really great. Their very own photographer taught us the secrets of a great flat lay, and showed us how he puts his together in stages to build up to the perfect photo. It’s made me want a couple of Capture by Lucy backdrops more than ever too, as he was using some and they looked amazing on camera.
Wild Olive were also there, with a bath melt making workshop which I really enjoyed! The kids are very excited to use it in their bath on Sunday as a special treat. It was really interesting to see how their little bath melts are put together, and I appreciate the skill they have in making theirs look as lovely as they do on the Prezzybox website.
All of their products are handmade and suitable for vegans, which means they will make great gifts this holiday season. They had a whole display stand out of their products and I was drooling over the “bath teabags” (all the relaxation of a bath bomb without the debris you have to then rinse off) and their sets of bath melts which smelled wonderful. They gave us each a shower product in the goody bag, which I’m looking forward to trying out – it is clementine and prosecco and smells amazing.
As for the other Prezzybox products… well, I could have quite happily taken half the stuff home with me! The giant cookies taste as great as they look (if anyone wants to buy me a tasty gift this year I wouldn’t mind one of these. I’m just saying), the Star Wars felt character craft kit looks brill, and the handful of Harry Potter products they had on show were totally covetable. They even have dinosaur fairy lights! So cool.
Prezzybox have got a fantastic range of gifts available over on their website, and I think there is probably something for everyone. They’ve really upped their game with their photos and product range recently, determined to stand out amongst the ever growing market of online gift shops, and it all looks fab.
Thank you very much to the Prezzybox team for inviting me along to the event, it was great fun and lovely to see so many local bloggers, some new to me and some familiar faces too. I really enjoyed all the workshops and the talks were really interesting – and, in what is possibly the best result of the night, the pets of Prezzybox now have their very own Instagram account, so make sure you go over and follow that!
