Review: Abalone
Sometimes it is nice to sit down after the girls have gone to bed, and play a game together – James and I don’t have a lot of two player games we can play during some ‘adult time’ but this is definitely a good one.
Review: My First Bananagrams
Now that Lydia is in reception she is making great strides with both her reading and writing – she loves to spot digraphs in words, and has started to try and read all the signs and different words she sees when we are out and about. Georgie used to delight in this too and has turned into a complete bookworm, so both girls love the chance to play with words and letters with games like this one.

Cobra Paw is the latest game sent to us as members of the Blogger Board Game club, and it is great fun for both adults and children, testing your quick thinking and reflexes.

We really enjoy playing games as a family, and are building up a good collection of games that we can all play together. This 4 in 1 cube has games that the girls can enjoy on their own as well as with James and I – all with the iconic Very Hungry Caterpillar illustrations by Eric Carle.

Georgie and Lydia both love making up stories, and these story cubes are a great way to spark their imaginations to get them weaving fantastical tales.
