Review: Doomlings Playmats and Expansions
★★★★★ After we reviewed Doomlings last year, they were kind enough to send us some expansions and playmats to make our games even more fun. My parents bought us the Upgrade Pack for Christmas, which adds Dinolings, Mythlings, Techlings, Multi-Color, and The Meaning of Life expansions to the game – all of which make it even more fun to play. Combined with the base game, plus the Imaginary Ends and Castle Glass packs, we now have over 400 cards to play with.

Their brand motto is ‘Designed for dyslexics, effective for everyone.’ and after playing this game, I can see that they really put that slogan into action with this product.
Review: How Am I Weird
★★★★☆ With Father’s Day fast approaching, we were sent this family friendly party game to try out & review here on the Mama Geek blog. How Am I Weird is a card game ideal for friends or family get-togethers.
The basic premise of the game is much like several of the party card games you can find on the market; each person has a hand of ‘Comeback’ cards, which you play in response to a ‘Life’ card that is turned over. The best response to the card – or the weirdest! – wins the round. In addition to the ‘Comeback’ cards, there are 10 unique ‘Weirdo’ cards which allow you to less loose your imagination and come up with the strangest thing you can think of as your comeback.
Review: Belly Bashimi
This is the kind of game that you can’t take seriously at all – and the kind that gets pulled out of the cupboard at parties for guests of all ages. It’s totally silly and chaotic, and the girls – plus a special guest who popped over for the afternoon during half term – loved putting it through it’s paces.

With two geeks in the making for kids, we were really intrigued by this game when it arrived, as it aims to help develop basic coding skills – something both Lydia and Georgie are interested in.
