Yesterday we attended Gadget Show Live and it was a very good, if exhausting day! We are off on our holidays for a week today but I wanted to post a quick blog about our day – more info, photos & a video will come when we get back! I was hoping to edit my video and get it up before we went to bed last night but we were all so tired out I couldn’t quite manage it.
It was great to see so many new & innovative products at the show, and the girls really enjoyed trying a lot of new things too. There are a lot of great gadgets in development & already available for families – some of our favourites from the day include a prototype folding playhouse, a toy to help families communicate over time zones, a ladybird that picks up lego, and a travel cot that turns into a teepee during the daytime.
James & I had fun playing with some pretty nifty toys too – I think both of us want a Sphero robot now, and James quite fancies getting a pi-top when he next replaces his laptop. My phone is sporting a fab new Case Station personalised case, and I eyed up plenty of different mobile accessories around the show, so I’ll be including some of my favourites in my next blog post about what we saw.
For now, I’d definitely recommend anyone interested in tech & gadgets try to get to the show this weekend – it’s really interesting, with loads to see & do for both adults & children.
Looks like everyone had fun. I’m suprised actually that it is so family friendly! I have no idea what a pi-top is but now I feel like I need one lol x
