Last year we went to the amazing LEGO show that is Bricklive for the first time, and it was a really really fun day out for all the family. We are heading back to the NEC for the event this October too, and I also get to give away a pair of tickets to you guys!

This year, Bricklive has been touring around the country and it is coming back to Birmingham for it’s flagship show on 26th-29th October. I’m really looking forward to seeing the life-sized LEGO animals in the Bright Bricks Safari zone, building a space ship in the Star Wars Zone, and just getting to see and play with all those bricks!

  1. My 6 year old twins think they should be on C4 Lego masters next time so this will really help them explore the world of bricks, they would adore the experience.

I love the freedom of lego because children can create anything they want to, it is such a great all round learning tool to teach everything from sharing, colours and numbers, design and planning, tidying away and so much more! It lasts forever and appeals to all ages and different generations and we love it!

  6. I loved Lego as a kid, building my favourite fire station set so its only fair I got my kids hooked on Lego too. We love sitting and building (yes we have another fire station yippee haha) as a family. Great quality time.

  7. my son loves making his own things out of lego. He enjoys making vehicles. My daughter enjoys the lego friends and frozen lego sets. I find it therapeutic

  8. What can’t you do with lego? Who doesn’t love making something with lego? It’s irresistible to all ages and a favourite across generations. Never out of fashion!

  9. My boys are just starting to experience the magic of Lego and they are using their imaginations to create their own little master pieces. They enjoy playing together for hours and nothing beats the sound of them playing. They are not only building little creations but also building a stronger bond with each other.

  10. My two boys are obsessed with Lego. I love it because its great for imagination, coordination, fine motor skills, the list goes on. I love that the possibilities are endless with creations and whats a dragon today could be a house tomorrow or a super weapon the day after!

  11. My 6 year old is Lego obsessed and it’s spreading through the family. For birthdays and Christmas we now all have Lego sets lol. Going to an event like this would be great for encouraging his free play and imagination!

  12. My girls absolutely love Lego. It is for young & old, it can b simple or complex it’s whatever you want it to be. Most of all it’s fun & something you can all get involved in as a family. Bricklive would be a fab day out for the 3 of us! X

  14. I have loved Lego ever since I was a child, and now I love playing with it with my nephew. There is something great about being able to build whatever you want!

  16. My granddaughter loves building Lego and so does her Daddy, they would have a brilliant day out at Bricklive together.
