Home Giveaways Giveaway: VIP tickets for Magical Lantern Festival Birmingham

Last year we went along to the Magical Lantern Festival at Birmingham Botanical Gardens and wrote a review – we loved it! This year, the festival is back, in a new location – Kings Heath Park. We’ve been invited along to review the festival in it’s new home, and have also been given a VIP ticket package to giveaway to one lucky reader!

About Magical Lantern Festival Birmingham

The acclaimed Magical Lantern Festival is bringing the ultimate Christmas lights experience to London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds from 24 November to 1 January, with hundreds of handmade, illuminated installations, unique grottos, rides and Christmas Markets.

The stunning landscaped grounds of Birmingham’s Kings Heath Park will be festooned with a lantern trail, featuring a huge gingerbread house and enormous, handmade replica of the iconic Birmingham Central Library.

For an additional £10 ticket, children can meet Santa himself, in the beautifully decorated timber grotto experience, with every child taking away a gift to remember it by. Meanwhile, grown-ups can warm up with mulled wine and drinks at the bar, and a variety of hot food from the Christmas Market.

  1. I would definitely take the kids – we went last year to the botanical gardens and it was magical – but parking a nightmare!!!! We also missed the santas grotto as it wasn’t avaliable the day we went!

  2. My daughters would love this. They would be super company as most children love the excitement of bright lights. The seasonal atmosphere would be great. Lots of fun and chances to snap exciting photo memories.

  3. I would love to surprise my sister’s four kids who she fetches up alone and does a amazing job! It would also give my sister some ‘much needed quality time doing what she wishes to do and not being dictated by the kids ❤

  4. l would go with my lovely hubby if he can get the time from work or my lovely bestie if he carnt. We have never been to this so would be a wonderful treat 🙂
