On Saturday we headed in the Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham city centre to do a spot of shopping – and meet the Honey Monster!
Sugar Puffs have recently been relaunched as Honey Monster Puffs, with 20% more honey and slightly lowered overall sugar levels. The Honey Monster is back and better than ever, and never mind the kids… my inner child was eager to meet him.
We got to have a hug and snapped some pics – Georgie wasn’t too impressed but then she is rarely a fan of any large costumes like this. Lydia was fascinated and just wanted to look at him – she gave him a big grin and a high five before we left though!
The Honey Monster & his helpers were kind enough to give the kids a goodie bag each before we left, and some samples of the new improved recipe cereal, which we tried out yesterday morning – I’m pleased to report we all enjoyed it very much, yummy.
The girls love their new Honey Monster toys, and Lydia has welcomed hers into the mountain of toys she sleeps with… I seriously have no idea how there is room for that child in her own bed. She even has an old sofa cushion in there and a purple fluffy monkey that is as big as her.

Lydia has been cuddling hers non stop since we got it – she’s currently tucked up in bed with him napping as I type. It was a fun outing, we got to get a bit of retail therapy in as well and pick up some bits & pieces we wanted.
