Hello! I’m still here, still pregnant! Still waiting…
With 3 days to go till my official due date I’m starting to run low on patience, and energy for that matter! I have been continuing to have tightenings on and off, but I have no idea when this baby is going to be here. I’m starting to think that it is a little too comfortable in there.
I, on the other hand, have been pretty much permanently uncomfortable since my fall on Monday! My aches and pains have improved a lot during the week, but I’m still having to take painkillers to get to sleep at night… though I think this is partly due to the SPD I am still suffering from still. I’m a bit relieved that the baby didn’t decide to arrive in the days after the accident though, as I was struggling to walk about the house, let alone being prepared to go through labour!
Georgie and I have been quite lazy this week; it’s half term in our area so I didn’t want to brave the crowds at the soft play or park while I was feeling so sore & achy, and our normal toddler group doesn’t run during school holidays! We did manage to pop out to Sainsbury’s yesterday at least, for a dose of fresh air and to visit the pharmacy in order to replenish my painkiller stash. It was freezing cold, but Georige definitely enjoyed her jaunt out in the smart trike & I enjoyed a good nights sleep last night so everyone was happy with the outcome – even if my SPD was hurting like mad when we got home!
Today has been a bit of a PJ day, although I have been busy this afternoon, taking lots of photos for some upcoming product reviews. I have some things I’m excited to try out once the new baby arrives, and I’m looking forward to sharing my thoughts with you all.
This morning Georgie and I cuddled up for a bit and watched the Aristocats for the first time together – I am loving introducing her to the classic Disney films. So far we have watched Aladdin and The Little Mermaid, but todays choice was definitely the favourite so far! She spent quite a bit of time shouting out “CAT” and pointing at the screen!
Well, that’s about it for now. I’m hoping we can get out somewhere nice for a few hours this weekend to give Georgie a good dose of exercise, fun and fresh air! That’s if I don’t go into labour first, of course… 😀

It’s such an exciting time. I hope it goes at least as well as your best wish 🙂
