Dreamy

Review: Georgie isn’t usually much of a typical girly girl, but she definitely makes an exception where Disney Princess Palace Pets are concerned – she was delighted when this toy (now named “Kitty” instead of Aurora’s pet Dreamy) arrived, immediately giving her lots of big cuddles and declaring her to be “so cute!”

This Bright Eyes plush kitten has super soft fur, a plastic crown, and a removable (velcro) shiny gold collar. Her tail, is super fluffy and adorned with a pretty bow, and her facial features are stitched on and super cute. If you took the spiky crown and collar off (sewing the collar into place would work too), it would probably be suitable for toddlers as well as 3+ children, although I wouldn’t give it to a newborn due to the fluffiness.

Georgie loves her Kitty already, and she has the high honour of being welcome to sleep in Georgie’s bed with her – not many toys ever get to sleep with Georgie and her doll Melody, so this is actually quite a big thing for Georgie.

When you pat Kitty on the head she wakes up and her eyes light up. She has 20 different phrases to say, and you can stroke her on the back to trigger her talking. Her eyes are really neat – they light up & down gradually so it looks like her eyelids are fluttering as she wakes up or drifts off to sleep. Pat her on the head again, and she falls back to sleep.

We give this toy 4 stars – she is lovely but a tiny bit expensive for what you get, and very easy for your child to trigger on if they take them to sleep to cuddle.
