Review: I was given these Hotter boots at the recent Hotter event I attended at the Solihull store. I have been testing them very thoroughly ever since… other than a few outings in my wellies I haven’t worn any other shoes since having my Hotter moment with these boots!

Usually a size 8, I got these in an extra-wide 7.5 and they suit my oddly shaped feet perfectly. They hug the ankle enough to stop them from slopping around, whilst being wide enough for my feet, and with plenty of toe wriggle room.

I have been out in pouring rain in these boots, and after the initial application of the protection spray they have proved to be very waterproof, even withstanding some unavoidable puddles. There has been some very slightly fraying on one of the seams on the suede but you do get these slight imperfections on natural fabrics and it is purely cosmetic (and can be fixed with a tiny snip of the scissors!)

They are really soft and snug inside, with a faux fur lining. The Pixie boots just pull on and off which is perfect for getting in and out of the house quickly in pursuit of two small children.  The suede outer is soft to the touch and looks fantastic.

I really love the way these boots look and I have worn them with both leggings and jeans, even wearing them on a night out in Birmingham. They are insanely lightweight and comfortable, and the Comfort Concept technology really works. I have worn them on loads of walks, on the beach, on the school run, round the shops, and pretty much every time I’ve stepped outside in the last three and a half weeks.

I’m already planning a return to the Hotter store to treat myself to another pair of their super comfy shoes soon… I’m trying to resist buying the Pixie boots in another colour… maybe next year?!

Even Georgie had herself a “Hotter Moment”…

These boots cost less than my “other” pair of black suede winter boots and I like them much, much more. 5 very well deserved stars, these will be firmly on my feet all winter.
