Review: We have been buying Organix baby & toddler foods since we started weaning Georgie over two years ago now, and so we were definitely interested in trying some of the newer products in their range. We hadn’t previously tried any of the three products we were sent, and I’m pleased to report that they all went down a storm.
The baby cereal is suitable from 7 months onwards, and is really like teeny weeny ultra cute rice crispies (or rice crackles, as we have on our shelf). They are multigrain, so actually a healthier option than their larger counterparts. Lydia absolutely loved these, and had a second bowlful straight away. Georgie, despite being nearly three, saw her little sister getting some and promptly demanded a bowlful herself too. She pronounced it as very yummy. The box hasn’t lasted long with them both gobbling it up at every opportunity!
At £2.49 the cereal is about average price for a baby cereal and it’s great to find one that isn’t just mush. Lydia likes a bit of texture and these were brilliant for that. You know that your little one is getting the vitamins they need too, as it is age targeted. I must admit now Georgie is getting toward pre-school age rather than toddler, we do tend to give her “big girl” cereal which is cheaper to buy. I would certainly recommend this for weaning babies though.
The Goodies Banana Soft Oaty Bars were a huge hit with both girls, and we have already repurchased and worked our way through a second box since. These snacks are brilliant as you can throw them into your bag for a day out without worrying about the being too smashed up, and as the bars are individually wrapped you just take what you need.
Georgie and Lydia both really enjoyed the snack bars. Sometimes I gave them one to share along with a second snack, and sometimes they would have one each. They have always disappeared quickly with very happy munching children as a result. They seem to be a great energy booster too.
Finally, the Sweetcorn Salsa Snappy Crocs – these are also something that we have bought more of since the girls chomped their way through the review packet. Georgie loves the crocodile shape and makes “snap snap” noises and actions as she eats these! Both girls seem to really enjoy the taste and texture of these.
A bag is perfect to split between the two of them as a snack or part of their lunch. If I am giving them to just one of the girls I tend to put half into a bowl and then seal the bag for another day – the little corn snacks keep really well like this.
The “no junk promise” on Organix products mean you don’t have to worry about your kids consuming unnecessary additives or thickeners, that organic produce is always used for their baby & toddler foods. Guilt free yet easy snack options!
We give these products from the Organix range a 5 star rating. Our girls gobbled them all up!
