Spring in the Garden – Macro Photography Project

I’ve been out in the garden again this week with my new extension tubes mounted on my DSLM camera, snapping the new flowers that have bloomed in the spring sunshine. I took all of these photos with a Samsung NX3000 with both the 10mm & 16mm extension tubes attached, and my 50-200mm lens.

The garden is getting very colourful (and fairly overgrown too, we need to get the mower out!) and is absolutely humming with life. These purple flowers are always buzzing with bees and Georgie does a funny little sprint every time she has to go past, or asks Lydia to help her get past by holding her hand.

Some of the flowers in the garden are very bold, bright and beautiful, and others are much more delicate and pale, with petals so thin you can almost see through them.
