On Friday evening we picked up Eliza and took her & Lydia along to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens to check out the Luminate Light Trail, which is one of the six light trails that Luminate Live are doing this winter.
It’s been a very busy week with the last few days of school, my birthday, some lovely outings and the house in chaos, so it was really nice to escape the craziness for a few hours on Thursday evening to experience some wonderful outdoor theatre at Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
We were invited to go along to the Jurassic Kingdom event at The Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and the girls were excited to go and see all of the dinosaurs on display!
On Wednesday evening we went along to the launch event of the Magical Lantern Festival at Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Last night we headed over to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens for our second helping of outdoor theatre this summer; The Wizard of Oz, by Immersion Theatre. All four of use attended and we all really enjoyed the show, which had us clapping along, singing, dancing, and laughing out loud.
