Truprint Father’s Day Gifts for the new homeowner Dad #TruprintDads

The girls & I were invited to try out the Truprint personalised print product service in advance of Father’s Day, to come up with some gift ideas for James. I didn’t want to get yet another photo canvas, and we have about 50 mugs, and so after quite a lot of browsing and thinking I chose the following items:

We were sent a £50 voucher in order to buy these products, and this post represents my honest opinions of the products and service.

Photo Magnets – James and I have been collecting fridge magnets since we got together, and have a door full of mementos of special trips and holidays. There are magnets from our first year of dating, a save the date magnet for our wedding, one from our honeymoon in Mexico, and places we have visited with the children. I love looking at them all and remembering all that they signify, and our history as a couple and then a family.

I thought it would be great to have some photo magnets up on our fridge door to add to our collection, including one of the whole family together that I took at Easter. The photo with the girls playing with the puppies is one I took recently while visiting my Mother in Law, and reminds me of a lovely sunny afternoon that we all really enjoyed.

Magnets

The magnets are of really nice quality and stay up well on the fridge. James, who got to see his gifts early, was delighted with them and pleased to have two more memories up on the fridge. These 4″ x 6″ magnets cost £3.99 each.

Photo Coasters – We bought our first house together last year, and shortly after moving in we bought my dream dining table to replace an ugly old freebie table we got from freecycle when we rented our first house together.

We use coasters to protect the table – like most people do, I imagine – and our leather coasters we got as a wedding present were definitely showing their age, and so we replaced them with some cheap & cheerful ones from a bargain shop, but they started falling apart within months.

Photo Coasters

These photo coasters from Truprint are really beautiful and I know that James genuinely loves getting gifts for the house – he is definitely still a proud new homeowner one year after completion, even if some of our walls have bare plaster rather than wallpaper.

I chose photographs featuring myself, James, Georgie and Lydia so we would have a coaster each, and then one of the two girls together for the fifth coaster, and one of the puppies for the sixth – with those two to be used for guests or serving dishes. Georgie and Lydia are really excited to have their very own “big girl” coaster each, with photographs of themselves on, no less.

Coasters

The coasters are a nice thickness, with a glossy heat resistant surface and cork backing. The photos are printed very clearly and crisply, with accurate colours and sharp lines.

We are really pleased with all these products from Truprint, and James is very happy with his gifts. A mixture of sentimental and practical, I am certain they will last us ages, and serve as a lovely snapshot of our little family to treasure in years to come.

I was really pleased with the service from Truprint; the printing & delivery speeds were great, and I haven’t found any issues with the products at all. The website was easy to use and the order process was simple, with clear previews of what your end product was going to look like.

Truprint are offering up to £30 off your order until midnight 15th June, which is the last order date for Father’s Day. The code LOVEMYDAD gets £10 off orders between £20 – £49.99 and £30 off orders of £50 & more. Do check out their range of Father’s Day gifts if you have someone you need to shop for!
