A blog reader reached out to me to ask if I could create a cross stitch pattern of Mickey and Minnie dressed as ghosts for a project she is working on, and I thought they would be a perfect follow up project to the Disney inspired pumpkin cross stitch patterns I created for Halloween last year.
These patterns are designed to be small enough to fit in a keyring using 18-count aida, so they are pretty small and quick to whip up. I’m afraid there are a fair few partial stitches to make the curves of the mouse! I chose to do the backstitch with two strands to give it a thicker cartoon style.
I think these Disney inspired ghostly mice are pretty cute!
