When I was a kid, our first computer was an Amiga, and one of my absolute favourite games was Lemmings. Released in 1991, it celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. After James, Lydia, and I watched a great documentary about it on YouTube, I showed Lydia the game – and she thought it was hilarious.
Inspired, I decided to create a small cross-stitch pattern featuring the different Lemmings actions, and I’m really pleased with how it turned out!

Designed for a 3-inch hoop, the pattern measures 40 × 40 stitches and fits perfectly when stitched on 14-count fabric. I chose black Aida to match the game’s background, which really makes the little lemmings pop in the finished piece.
