Georgie and Lydia both really enjoyed a trip to the Patrick Centre at the Birmingham Hippodrome, where we were invited to go along and watch the 45 minute show What the Moon Saw by 2Faced Dance Company.
It’s been a very busy week with the last few days of school, my birthday, some lovely outings and the house in chaos, so it was really nice to escape the craziness for a few hours on Thursday evening to experience some wonderful outdoor theatre at Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
On Wednesday evening, we went into the City Centre to go and see live stage show of The Snowman which is currently on at the REP theatre in Birmingham. We were invited along to review the show and had a really lovely evening.
Yesterday evening I spent an enjoyable few hours at the Birmingham REP at their opening night of Simon Reade’s adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. Last night we headed over to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens for our second helping of outdoor theatre this summer; The Wizard of Oz, by Immersion Theatre. All four of use attended and we all really enjoyed the show, which had us clapping along, singing, dancing, and laughing out loud.
Last night James and I went to watch Sense & Sensibility performed by the Chapterhouse Theatre Company, as guests of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens which are hosting several outdoor theatre performances this summer.
