Enjoying the sunshine & flowers!

Home Chit Chat Enjoying the sunshine & flowers!

We have been having lots of fun over the last few days, enjoying the garden in the sunshine, especially since the trampoline we treated the girls to arrived on Wednesday. We built it after bedtime and Georgie was jumping on it straight after breakfast on Thursday morning, still in her PJs.

I am really enjoying all the beautiful flowers that are coming out in succession in our new garden; it’s obviously been really well planted as there is always something new coming out to replace any flowers that are over. At the moment we have 3 or 4 rose bushes blooming, and a mass of other flowers too.

We picked up a few more of our outdoor toys from my mother-in-law’s a few weeks ago, as she looked after them while we were temporarily homeless between houses. Georgie and Lydia have both been really enjoying having their cozy coupe and slide back. Lydia mastered the slide immediately and is so cute clambering up and zooming down.

I’ve been busy with work over the last week or so, and staying up late, enjoying the tasks at hand. The last few days have been lovely, sitting out on the grass, playing with my girls and eating ice creams in the sun. We’ve barely played indoors at all and the fresh air is doing us all good.

I’ll be reviewing the trampoline we have bought here on my blog soon, so look out for that. The girls are definitely loving it – the last few days have been all about the bouncing, sliding, see-saw-ing, rocking, and lazing about. I keep tabs on the internet world, both blogging and work side of things (although those two worlds do overlap a bit!), using my iPhone & iPad, then crack down for the real work in the evenings.

  1. I have to say that our trampoline has probably been the best toy we have ever bought the children – they all love it! How great to able to have fun in your own garden and enjoy the sunshine together. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.

  2. What a gorgeous day! My little ones are ALWAYS on top form when they have ice-pops!! …Who could resist popping over with all those butts in the air!! #CountryKids
