As part of the Keep Britain Breastfeeding Scavenger Hunt 2013, I am pleased to announce that I have not one, but two Therlaine Wynnie nursing pillows to giveaway! I reviewed this nursing pillow here on my blog a few weeks ago and it received a very well deserved 5 stars!
Today is all about breastfeeding tips on the scavenger hunt, and one of my top tips when breastfeeding is to get yourself a decent nursing pillow so this giveaway is perfect for today! Trust me when I say you are going to be spending a lot of time sat on the sofa or in bed breastfeeding your baby, and a nursing pillow will make your life a lot easier.
It’s worth spending a small amount of money on a nursing pillow to make the hours of breastfeeding ahead of you as comfortable as possible! They double up as a great baby support too, when your little one is starting to want to sit up more:

To be in with a chance of winning one of the two Wynnie pillows I have to giveaway, just leave me a comment telling me your top breastfeeding tip and record your entries with this rafflecopter widget.

September @chanson2010
my mum and my husband have been very supportive in the past
@chanson2010
keep at it! it will hurt but it will also go away when you both get use to feeding 🙂
My top tip, is keep at it, relax and enjoy that very special unique moment with your baby- they will be growing up fast and we take these special moments for granted too often!
Make sure you keep well hydrated
Keep calm and relax! Have a little snack and enjoy every moment 🙂
Have a hair bobble/elastic band and place it on the wrist on the side you are feeding from, then when you next feed, move it to the other side so that you remember to alternate 🙂
I use Lansinoh to soothe and protect sore nipples
My husband
don’t be afraid to not do it
Lansinoh is great for nipples!
Drink lots and eats well
relax!
Let baby decide when he’s hungry. Trying to push a routine for breast feeding just doesn’t work in my opinion. I had a terrible midwife who tried to tell me to feed at specific time, i got so stressed about it. Also take care of your nips! I ended up with mastitis and was very very ill, nipple shields help a lot when you first start xxx
Relax and enjoy it!
Relax!
Try not to force a routine on the baby. Let is all come naturally.
Make sure you have your positioning right so you and your baby are comfortable and baby can latch easily xxx
Be patient!
Don’t let your toddler have a favourite side! He’s still Bf at 18 months but only from 1 boob and there’s about 3 cup size differences!
Don’t give up 🙂
