Georgie and Lydia really enjoyed our holiday and loved getting to spend a weekend with their older (and therefore cooler) cousin, Izzy. As well as attending her 4th birthday party, they played loads, inside…

As you can see from the photos these three get on like a house on fire. Izzy still refers to our little one as “Baby Lydia” the whole time which is somewhat adorable. It’s great that they are now at the age where all three can play together, and the 7 month age gap between Georgie and Izzy is less noticeable as they get older.
Georgie stayed in Izzy’s room with her, with Lydiebum sleeping on a blow up bed in our room. Lydia and Georgie both fell a little bit in love with Izzy’s cabin bed as it has a very exciting slide to get down… even if we had the space we could never get one as Lydia & Georgie are a bit too slide obsessed to do anything but climb up the ladder and whizz down the slide constantly.
It was great to spend some time with family over the week, beginning with this weekend at my sister’s house. I really enjoyed watching the kids together, getting to know one another some more. Hopefully they’ll get to see each other fairly often as they grow up, despite the 2 1/2 hour drive away!
Oh they all look so cute playing together! Cousins are one of the great things of childhood! x
