Review: As soon as I opened up the parcel containing these beautiful bits of stationery I had a smile on my face. The design of them jumped out immediately as very pretty and the quality of the items excellent.

The journal is an A5 notebook with a whole load of different designs on the paper. These do repeat but there are so many different page designs that it has a great variety to it.

The paper quality is great and I really enjoy the way this journal feels in the hand. The label on the back is easy peel, coming off easily so that the cover design isn’t spoiled by the barcode. On the front of the journal, silver spots make the Eiffel Tower shine & reflect light.

The mini sticky notes are really cute and have fabulous designs on them as well. Some of them are the perfect size for short notes, and others are page marker size for making a note of an important page. There are 275 sticky notes in total, with 11 different designs; 6 of these are note sized, and 5 page marker sized.

I think the tiny hot air balloons are so sweet, and the watercolour illustrations as a whole are very pretty.

The journal and mini sticky notes complement each other perfectly, and looking at the Life Canvas website I can see that the whole range follows the same styling. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase more from the range, and they would make the perfect gift for someone who is planning a special trip to Paris itself.
