Rating: (5/5 stars) Review: Lydia loved the first series of Twisty Petz we were sent to review last year, so when I showed her these series 3 products we were sent to review she just about exploded with excitement. They were shown off on Facetime to Grandma & Grandad before I had even had a chance to photograph them. Our youngest girl loves all things pink & fluffy, so the new Cuddlez Twisty Petz range is right up her street. She couldn’t wait to get it out of the packaging so she could cuddle and play with it. There are four different cuddly creatures to collect; “Snowpuff Unicorn”, “Purrella Kitty” , “Cuddlez Puppy” and “Snugglez Sloth.” We were sent the Kitty and Lydia loved it instantly. Just like the smaller Twisty Petz, these untwist and transform from an animal to something else – in this case you can keep your neck warm by wearing it as a scarf / boa. To change it back into a Kitty, just put the legs together and twist them a few times. This plush toy is super soft and very huggable, and will definitely be a firm favourite in Lydia’s soft toy collection. The other product we were sent was a three pack of the standard type of Twisty Petz – but ours had one with a difference! One of the little creatures in our set has a pot of lip gloss hidden away inside its body. It opens up to reveal a sweet smelling pink gloss which Lydia found very exciting. This set also had one mystery animal, which we couldn’t see until we opened up the packaging – also very exciting for our 6 year old Lydie! We got “Miss Unigloss Unicorn”, “Rosey Doe Fawn” and “Llamarama Llama” in our pack. It also included a collectors guide so that you can keep track of your Twisty Petz. All three of these toys could untwist to change from their animal form into a bracelet – and when you put all three together they can clip end to end to become a necklace. Each small pet has a small sphere at the tip of their tail which dips securely into a hole in the head. Unclip them and you can turn them back into animals with a few twists. Both these products include instructions to transform them, and it doesn’t take long to get the hang of it at all. Lydia can do it on her own, though sometimes needs a little help to get them unclipped as you need to give them a good tug. Lydia is delighted with these toys and I think they make great gifts, too. Lydia’s 7th birthday is coming up in a few months, and I am certainly going to be adding a Twisty Petz Cuddlez to her list! We give these products 5 stars!
